So recently, we (meaning me) have been watching a new show on HBO MAX called The Pitt, in which Noah Wyle plays an older, wiser Dr. John Carter, who has moved on from County General to take charge of the busy ER of Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Hospital. No, I’m kidding.* He actually plays Dr. Perry Cox, who mentors/torments young physician J.D. … No, I’m kidding again. But there is a resemblance, don’t you think?

Still Not A Review Of “Stranger Things 4”

So last week, I mentioned that I had finally started watching season four of Stranger Things, and I also made reference to its use of the Kate Bush song “Running up that Hill”, which, at the time, I knew had surged in popularity as a result of its appearance in the show. However, when I wrote that post, I was only on episode one of the new season, in which “Running up that Hill” was used briefly in a scene where one of the characters was walking through the halls of her new school. I was pretty sure that this scene could not possibly account for the sudden popularity of the song, so I expected it to make a repeat appearance; but I’ve been doing a pretty good job of avoiding spoilers for this season, and so I didn’t know exactly when that would happen, until I got to episode four, when some major plot developments occurred, which I am of course going to mention.
