It used to be a lot of fun! Sadly, at some point after we moved away, they dismantled the alpine slide and now it is back to just being a ski slope in the winter …

Funny story, my hubby took me to an alpine slide for our 2nd date in 1989 and I fell off the sled. He was afraid to bring me home all scraped up. 🙂 He learned early on that I am accident prone.

The alpine slide is pretty much the only flume ride or rollercoaster-adjacent attraction my wife would ever go on. She was even willing to ride the chair lift up to the top of the mountain!

You and your sled crash into hay bales and/or trees! (This actually happened, I saw somebody off the side of the alpine slide once who had taken a turn too fast.) Waivers were definitely signed by the riders lol
