That was Pooh Bear. She only overlapped Dennis by a month or so; we had to send her across the Rainbow Bridge in December of 2007 after an undetected tumor on her liver ruptured and started causing a large amount of internal bleeding. A pretty unpleasant surprise, and one of a couple of reasons why we don’t like things that rupture around here.

Yeah, that was a pretty unpleasant surprise. She had just had an exam at her (old) vet a week or two before and they gave her a clean bill of health. Sigh.
