I only voted once for myself, because that’s how I roll, which means I got an actual vote from somebody who isn’t me.  I don’t know who else voted for Shards, but thank you, anonymous person!  And another thank you to anyone else who might have the time and inclination to pay Underground Book Reviews a visit and place a vote for Shards — as far as I can tell, no login or account is required.**

** EDIT: I’ve heard that the voting is in fact asking people to log in using WordPress or Facebook.  I apparently never log out of anything so I didn’t realize it was doing this.  Sorry about that!  I appreciate that people have been willing to cast votes for Shards, but please don’t worry if you can’t get to the voting screen — I wouldn’t ask anyone to create an account or log in to a random site on my behalf!  🙂

So this week I started reviewing my last completed but unpublished manuscript, Father’s Books.  This one is essentially a ghost story, set, like Crows and Long Before Dawn, in a thinly veiled version of the Mohawk Valley region of New York.  But more on that in a week or two, because this week, I heard from Underground Book Reviews that Shards is a Pitch Perfect Pick finalist for this week.  Pretty cool!

New Year? New Project!

So just before the end of 2016, I finally finished what is surely almost definitely probably the final major editing draft on Television Man, my dark fantasy novel which is sort-of set in the Adirondack park of upstate New York.

And you know what that means:  It’s time to prepare and lay out the ebook and dead tree versions.  It’s not as easy as one might think.

Not A Review Of “Spectre”
